Below we have answers to our guests most frequently asked questions. If you have a question please contact us and we will endeavour to help in any way that we can.
Q. Can we bring children?
A. We are delighted to welcome children of any age. We have two family rooms which can accommodate two adults along with up to two children. Cots and high chairs are provided at no extra charge.
Q. Are there facilities for the disabled?
A. We have three ground floor bedrooms that are accessible for wheelchair users. The rooms have been adapted for disabled guests to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The rooms feature handrails, lowered light switches, wider doors and en suite wet rooms. Shower stools are available on request. We have a disabled public toilet and the Restaurant and function suites are located on the ground floor and are easily accessible. Please let us know when booking, of any disability so we can ensure you have a enjoyable stay.
Q. Is smoking permitted in the hotel?
A. Guests are welcome to smoke in the designated smoking areas to the front and rear of the Hotel. Smoking is not permitted in the hotel and we have no designated smoking bedrooms. Guest who smoke in the bedrooms will be charged a fee of £50.00 towards additional laundry, dry cleaning and housekeeping costs.
Q. Do you cater for special dietary requirements?
A. Our Chef provides a wide and excellent choice for vegetarians, and we will be happy to accommodate other dietary needs if you let us know when booking.
Q. Is there a dress code?
A. We do not have a dress code and we want you to be comfortable and relaxed as possible when you are staying with us.
Q. Can we bring pets?
A. Pets can have full run of our grounds; however, we do not allow them in the public rooms or for them to sleep in the guest bedrooms.
Q. What time can we check in?
A. Rooms are not available to guests before 3:00 pm on
the day of arrival. You are very welcome to leave your
luggage at reception and make use of the restaurants and
garden. We ask that guests vacate their rooms by 10:00
am on the day of departure but, again, you are welcome
to use the hotel facilities for the rest of the day.
If you need to check in early or check out late this can be organised by prior arrangement. A £15.00 supplement will apply.
Q. Can we use mobile phones?
A. You are welcome to use mobile phones anywhere in the hotel, but we do ask that you are considerate and respect other guests' peace and comfort.
Q. Can you arrange or suggest days out and places to visit?
A. We would be delighted to! You will find plenty of suggestions both here and in your room, when you arrive. If you have any questions or special requests, please ask us at reception.
